Departure from the port, where our team will welcome you to begin the transfer to Santiago de Compostela (approx. 1 hour drive), enjoying the Galician landscape while the guide shares curiosities, legends, and stories about the region.
Upon arrival, we will start a guided tour with an official guide through the most emblematic places of the city: the majestic Cathedral, the Plaza del Obradoiro, the historic quarter, and its streets full of history. Discover the secrets of the Camino and the cultural richness of Santiago in an enjoyable and enriching visit.
After the tour, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace, shop, or simply enjoy its unique atmosphere. During this time, you can go whenever you like to the designated venue to enjoy the typical Galician lunch we offer: delicious Galician empanada, a drink included, and, as a sweet ending, the famous Tarta de Santiago.
We will provide you with a free map with a personalized route and must-see points to make the most of your stay.
Finally, a comfortable return to the port (approx. 1 hour drive) to get back to the ship with complete peace of mind.

At the time indicated in your booking, we will meet at the specified meeting point. Our staff will be easily identifiable by their white clothing with the ShoreSpirit Tours logo. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure timely departure. Once we have all met, we will travel to the city of Santiago de Compostela on a 1-hour journey through the spectacular landscapes of Galicia. During this time, our tour guide will inform you about the most important aspects of the Galicia region, with stories and legends of Santiago and its surroundings.
Enjoy a private and personalized tour of Santiago, where an official local guide will take you to discover the most important and iconic places in the city. To make these guided tours more efficient, groups will be limited to 20–25 people.
Enjoy some free time in the city of Santiago, where you can go shopping or simply wander through its old town. In addition, we offer you an appetizer consisting of traditional Galician empanada, a drink, and Tarta de Santiago, which you can enjoy whenever you like at a venue we will indicate.

Each excursion will have a different schedule depending on the ship’s arrival and departure times at the port. You will be informed of your excursion’s schedule when your booking is confirmed.
To confirm an excursion, a minimum number of seats must be booked. Once this minimum is reached, you will receive a notification confirming your excursion along with a link to make the payment.
If, due to a change in the ship’s itinerary or external reasons (such as political or weather-related issues), a confirmed excursion cannot be carried out, we will first try to find an alternative. If none is available, the full amount will be refunded to the passenger.
We will provide you with a phone number so you can contact us at any time. However, before the tour begins, you will receive a message with all the information, including the location where you can find us.
Although our team will do everything possible to assist you, we are not allowed to provide support to people with reduced mobility. We recommend contacting us before booking this tour to explain your situation and look for a solution.
This tour is of easy to medium difficulty. We only recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes to explore the city.
If there aren’t enough people to create a group in your language, by default all excursions will be conducted in English. All our guides are bilingual in English and Spanish. Additionally, for ships originating from Germany (mainly from AIDA and TUI cruise lines), all excursions will be conducted in German unless otherwise indicated by the team when confirming the tour.
